These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.norlanya.com (the “Site”) and purchases made through the Site.

By accessing the Site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

Mandatory rights available under applicable consumer protection laws are not excluded or limited by these Terms.

1. About NORLANYA

NORLANYA supplies personal and home-use beauty devices as well as professional and commercial aesthetic equipment.

Some products are intended for personal use, while others are intended for use by salons, spas, clinics, trained operators or other professional users.

Product classification, intended use and applicable commercial terms may differ depending on the particular product.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to make purchases through the Site.

Where a product is intended only for professional or commercial use, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the product is operated by appropriately trained or qualified persons and in accordance with applicable local requirements.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and availability shown on the Site are accurate.

However:

  • product appearance and color may vary slightly from photographs;
  • specifications may be updated or improved without prior notice where this does not materially reduce the product’s intended function;
  • product availability may change;
  • typographical or technical errors may occasionally occur.

Where a quotation, proforma invoice, invoice, sales agreement or product-specific specification differs from general information displayed on the Site, the specifically agreed document will apply to that transaction.

4. Personal and Professional Products

NORLANYA sells both:

  • Personal / Home-Use Products; and
  • Professional / Commercial Equipment.

Different warranty, return, installation, training and service terms may apply to these categories.

Professional equipment may also be subject to product-specific terms relating to:

  • configuration;
  • voltage;
  • accessories;
  • installation;
  • training;
  • usage limits;
  • shots or pulses;
  • treatment cycles;
  • operating hours; or
  • consumable components.

5. Orders

An order submitted through the Site is an offer to purchase.

We reserve the right to accept, reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

  • product unavailability;
  • pricing or description errors;
  • suspected fraud;
  • payment failure;
  • shipping restrictions;
  • regulatory or import restrictions; or
  • orders requiring additional confirmation.

For professional equipment, we may contact you before accepting the order to confirm product configuration, electrical requirements, destination, shipping arrangements or other technical details.

6. Prices and Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on the Site are in U.S. dollars.

Available payment methods may include:

  • PayPal;
  • bank transfer; and
  • other payment methods displayed at checkout.

Applicable shipping charges, taxes, duties or other charges may be added separately.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping and contact information.

Where a payment provider charges transaction, currency conversion, refund or other fees, those fees may be subject to the payment provider’s own terms.

Nothing in this section limits any refund rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping methods may include express courier, air freight and sea freight depending on the product, destination and order size.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by:

  • customs clearance;
  • carrier delays;
  • inspections;
  • weather;
  • remote-area delivery;
  • destination-country requirements; or
  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Import Duties, Taxes and Customs

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are responsible for import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees and other charges imposed by the destination country.

Customers are also responsible for confirming whether the product may legally be imported, installed or used in their jurisdiction.

NORLANYA may provide product documents reasonably available to assist with customs clearance, but does not guarantee that customs authorities or local regulators will approve every shipment or product for every intended use.

9. Warranty

NORLANYA provides a commercial warranty for eligible products.

Warranty periods and conditions vary according to the product and component.

For professional equipment, certain components may also be subject to usage-based limits measured by shots, pulses, treatment cycles, operating hours or another usage counter.

A stated rated service life is not necessarily the same as the applicable warranty limit.

Our commercial warranty is in addition to any mandatory statutory rights that apply under local law.

10. Returns and After-Sale Support

Personal/home-use products and professional/commercial equipment are subject to different return conditions.

Eligible personal products purchased directly from NORLANYA may qualify for our stated return policy.

Professional equipment is generally not eligible for a change-of-mind return once it has been confirmed, customized, shipped, installed or used, subject to applicable mandatory law.

All warranty, repair and return requests should be submitted through our After-Sale Support process before products are returned.

Please do not return equipment without prior authorization.

11. Professional Equipment

Professional and commercial equipment may require specific installation, electrical, environmental, maintenance or operator conditions.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that:

  • the installation location is suitable;
  • the correct voltage and electrical supply are available;
  • applicable grounding and environmental conditions are met;
  • installation and operation follow NORLANYA documentation;
  • users receive appropriate training; and
  • any local professional, licensing or regulatory requirements are satisfied.

Unless specifically agreed in writing, standard product pricing and warranty do not include international on-site installation, on-site repair or on-site training.

12. Product Safety and Intended Use

Products must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with the applicable user manual, warnings and operating instructions.

Customers must not:

  • modify safety-related components without authorization;
  • use incompatible accessories or consumables;
  • bypass safety protections;
  • operate damaged equipment; or
  • use products outside their intended operating conditions.

Professional users are responsible for assessing whether a product and treatment are appropriate for their clients and for complying with applicable professional requirements.

13. Accounts

Where account registration is available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must provide accurate information and promptly update it when necessary.

Please notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

14. Reviews and User Content

Where the Site allows reviews, comments, photographs or other user-submitted content, you must only submit content that you have the right to provide.

Content must not:

  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • contain unlawful or defamatory material;
  • contain malicious code;
  • disclose another person’s private information without authorization; or
  • misrepresent your experience with a product.

By submitting content for publication on the Site, you grant NORLANYA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to display, reproduce and use that content for operating and promoting the Site and our products, subject to applicable law.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, product information and website design, are owned by or licensed to NORLANYA.

You may use the Site for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit or systematically extract Site content without prior authorization, except where permitted by law.

16. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Site to:

  • violate applicable law;
  • interfere with Site security or operation;
  • introduce malicious software;
  • attempt unauthorized access;
  • submit fraudulent orders or information;

NORLANYA is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services that we do not control.

For professional or commercial purchasers, this may include loss of:

  • business;
  • revenue;
  • profits;
  • customers;
  • appointments; or
  • treatment income

resulting from equipment downtime, to the extent such liability may lawfully be limited.

21. Force Majeure

NORLANYA will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including natural disasters, war, government action, strikes, carrier disruption, customs delays, epidemics, network failures or supply-chain disruptions.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The current version will be published on this page together with the “Last Updated” date.

Changes will not reduce mandatory rights that already apply to completed transactions.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are generally governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of the customer’s country of residence.

For business-to-business transactions, disputes will generally be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For consumers, nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive any jurisdiction, remedy or protection that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer law.
